Thank You President Bush, Hello President Obama

Today is a big day. Little M's nose is running like a spigot and she is not very happy at all in general. So today I am sitting in front of the tv, my computer by my side and my daughter in my lap. I was planning on watching at least some of the coverage today, but it looks like I will end up watching a good bit of it. Seems like M has a bit more than my looks, she seems to have problems with her allergies when the weather makes a big shift, like today. Anyway, today is big, it's the Presidential Inauguration, which it is a historic event any time we bring in a new president.  Whatever you think or feel about President Bush, at least he did keep us safe from international threats, which historically is one of the primary roles of the office, while local governments were set up to serve and govern their general vicinity.
    Today brings a lot of questions to mind. The first and foremost is what will the Obama Presidency be like? There has been tons of speculation and whatnot, but who knows till he actually fills the office. Will he govern from the center or from the left? Will he keep the country safe? Will he with the current congress help turn the country into a socialist state, complete with universal healthcare, or will Free Market Capitalism prevail? Will there be bans on guns, which many speculate, thus sending gun sales into stratospheric levels. There is only one thing we can count on and that is the Lord is in control and nothing, Nothing, will happen without His consent. What a comfort at any time, in any situation. Praise the Lord who reigns. Well maybe M will feel better later, I hope she will have a good rest this morning, that might help.
