After the Rain

This past weekend, we in the Florida Panhandle got brushed over by hurricane Fay. Our thoughts and prayer go out to our neighbors in the rest of Florida that are still dealing with the aftereffects of this storm. On Sunday, when I noticed the clouds starting to part, I picked up the camera and decided to go take some pictures.

These roses are some of my favorites, they are really easy to work with and don't require a lot of upkeep!

These take a bit more upkeep, but the color is fantastic, I am always excited to see a bud! Just thought I would share some pictures and I hope you enjoy them.

3 Months Old

Yep, as the title says our little girl, well she's not so little anymore, is now three months old! It seems like everyday she is getting bigger and well heavier!! It also seems that she is always doing new things or tricks as Tiff says. Just the other day she rolled over on her own, she might not have done it on purpose and she hasn't repeated it since, but you have to start somewhere right? She will definitely reach for her toys when she is laying down on her little play gym. She tries to put everything she can reach into her mouth whether it will fit or not and makes baby noises all the time, in fact she is talking right beside me as I am typing this! We are so proud of her and excited and amazed at how she is growing and the little girl that is becoming.

Fun and Hobbies

A few of the things I like to do most are work in the garden,
particularly with flowers and take pictures. I like to combine my two
hobbies and take pictures of the beautiful flowers that are growing
just outside my front door. Some of the flowers were already here
before we moved in and some of the are mine that I have recently
purchased and are just beginning to grow. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Time flies when your having fun

It is hard to believe that Maggie is 12 weeks old today! We took her last week for her two month shots, (she did great). She weighed 13 lbs and 11 oz and was 24.5 inches long. She has changed so much. She loves to smile - and we love to do anything that will make her smile! When we put her on her belly, she usually either gets mad or just goes to sleep. She has started to push up with her arms when she is laying on her stomach and squirms all around. She babbles and coos all of the time and will even squeal when she gets excited about something. She is sleeping all night (although she doesn't usually go to sleep until late).

I went back to work this week and it was hard, but not as hard as it would be, because Jeremy is keeping Maggie. He is doing better, we have one more surgery coming in the next couple of months, but hopefully that will be all.

Here are some new pictures:
